There's a place that I go
In a land far away
Where the river flows
And the snowflakes play.
It's so peaceful there
In the hush of twilight
As the snow falls like diamonds
Glistening in the starlight.
When the moon is full
And the clock chimes midnight
You can find me there
Alone in the moonlight.

Time is so fleeting
It keeps moving along
But here time stands still
As it plays our old song.
Soon it will be spring
And the wildflowers will grow
But now it's a wonderful winter
All soft and pure with new snow.
I stand in our wildflowers
All covered in white.
And I wait for you darlin'
In my dreams tonight.
