It's that time of year again
When we see the old year end.
We reminicse about the past
And make resolutions we hope will last.

Alot has happened this past year
So many families left with tears.
May God watch over those far away and alone
And give strength to their families at home.

We ended this year with thousands lost
The biggest catastrophe in history the cost.
Here in the states we kept the terroists at bay
But our troops are fighting them every day.

As this year ends and the new one begins
I pray that soon our troops will win.
I pray for all those lost in the tsunami
And for their familes.

For the sick, the lonely and the homeless too.
For those who struggle just getting through.
For things to get better day by day.
These are the things for which I pray.

My goals for this 2005
Are to appreciate being alive.
To try to help those in need
And whenever I can... do a good deed.

I'll hug my family and friends tighter
I'll try to make their burdens lighter.
I'll hold my loved ones a little longer
And I'll pray a little stronger.

I wish you good health
Love, laughter and wealth.
Good friends around you,
God's blessings surround you.

All across the land
Peace on earth
Goodwill toward man.
