In grade school having sleepovers
every Friday night.

Making fudge... giggling
and pillow fights.



The high school dances
on Saturday nights.

That special last dance
When they dimmed the lights.



Going "pass riding" on a trolley car.
Spending Sunday's at the roller rink.

After school.....hangin' out with friends
at the drugstore with a cherry coke drink.



Falling into puppy love
only to get my heart broken.

Writing in a diary
all the words I left unspoken.



Celebrating the big day
I finally turned twenty-one.

Thinking I could conquer the world
and feeling my life had just begun.



Waiting for the day
I would become a mother.

It's been my biggest joy in life -
far more than any other.



These are just a few precious moments I remember.
And as I wander through the years
I hold onto the love...the laughter
and even some of the tears.
