Lonely is... Wondering and worrying if you're alright. Thinking about you all through the night. Being alone in a crowd and wanting to scream. Seeing your smile only in a dream. Not hearing your voice whispering to me in the wind. Watching the sun disappear and the long night begin. Darlin' Lonely is... Never feeling you holding me tight Standing alone in the rain beneath the moonlight. Thinking of another place and a time that didn't last. Spending every moment dreaming of the past. Remembering a certain song and hoping you remember too. Most of all... Lonely is Being here and Loving you.
