Let Freedom Ring  On this Christmas celebration Let freedom ring across this nation. Some families are far apart And can only hold one another in their heart. At Christmas dinner add a prayer For all the families with an empty chair And those far from their home Spending the holidays all alone. As we wish for peace on earth And celebrate the Saviours birth. Somewhere a soldier prays alone in the night Beneath the Christmas star shining bright. He's fighting in a far off land for you and me, Serving his time to keep us free. So, as we welcome the birth of Christ the king Remember the troops who help freedom ring.
