Hanging by a moment

A moment in time

Remembering that one moment

When you were mine.

Was it all just a dream?

A figment of my imagination?

Or did we really soar

Above the constellations?

When I close my eyes

I always see us high above

Together amid the stars

Lying on a cloud making love.

It seems I've loved you

Since the beginning of time

And yet time only lasted a moment

Before we left it behind.

How much time is left for our future?

Can a moment last forever?

Will I find you once more in this lifetime?

And will we have another moment together?
