Four years ago
Our lives changed.
We're not so safe anymore
Our freedom has a heavy price
And it feels so strange.

It's a fact we live with
Looking over our shoulder.
The people who hate us
Are getting much bolder.

They didn't defeat us
... They never will.
They brought us together-
Made us stronger still.

We'll always remember
That day.... September eleven.
And the thousands we lost
Now Angels in Heaven.

We stop to pay homage
And then we move on.
But the memories stay with us
They're never gone.

Now... Today is the day,
It's been four long years.
We stop, bow our heads, we pray
And we remember with tears.

May God bless all
Who have Angels above.
May He comfort us all
With His Lasting Love.
